No matter what I sleep on, or how I sleep, my back and right hip ache and wake me and keep me awake. I do use a pillow or anything to keep my thighs elevated to alleviate this problem even with this and this is the best sleep I have had night after night in decades! It comes with a pad and I added a little to that but I have zero complaints. Another thing I like is I live in someone's home. My bedroom is 9'x11' so not a whole lot of room so this fit the bill for space reasons, too.
