Instructions
To burn a candle safely and effectively, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting, and ensure the candle is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials. Avoid blowing out the candle, which can cause splattering and soot, and instead, use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and then straighten it. For optimal fragrance and to prevent tunneling (when the candle burns down the center and leaves excess wax on the sides), burn the candle for a long enough time during the first burn to allow the wax to melt to the edge of the container. Generally, avoid burning candles for more than four hours at a time.
