I have given my puppy greenies dental sticks in the past. He loves eating dental sticks after his first time going potty for the day. He usually eats dental sticks everyday, and they are gone before there is any mess. No issues with him choking on them or digesting them. Definitely would recommend if you want your dog to have better mouth care and breath daily.

My Petey is going on four months old and his breath was getting a little raunchy and he is a heavy chewer as well. I went to the store and was looking for something to fix Peteys smelly breath and I read the ingredients in the Greenies and what they would accomplish for Petey and his breath so I bought this bag of them hoping it woukd work. I got home with them and Petey was watching and trying to find out what I had brought home and went so far as to stick his head into the bag. I gave Petey one of these Greenies and he was cautious at first because he was still learning the new surroundings but it didn't take him but a few seconds to go to chomping away on his Greenies and he loved it. He had no problems with digestion and chewing them up. The texture was smooth and the Greenies was soft and not hard. Petey loved them so much he was running behind me jumping on my legs wanting another one but I made him wait a while for the next one. His breath was much fresher and his teeth were getting shiner and he had no problems chewing them up. I will keep buying these while he is still a puppy and then switch him over for adult size Greenies when he comes of age.
