To be honest, I didnt even try this item. However, I am still giving an excellent review. I am basing my review on the fact that my boyfriend ate the ENTIRE sausage before we even got home from grocery shopping. I tried to ask him if he liked it and what he thought about it. He answered me, but it wasnt clear because he was too busy shoveling in more sausage. I think at one point I heard.. "mmmm is good" between bites.

I've purchased this twice and if you want cheap, sort of summer sausage flavor, then this is for you. To me it is a very bad generic version of real summer sausage without all the real flavors. It is bland, texture is gritty, it leaves a bad after taste in your mouth. For a cheap snack this is the one

Unimpressed. Love other Bridgford products but this is below average taste. Other brands of summer sausage are Much better. It's unlikely that I will purchase this again. Not recommended.
