The mower did come with instructions for assembling but….Im a man and we don't like instructions lol. But again, it was super easy. Even better than described. I love Hart brand products. It cuts everything in it's path very well... it chews up the toughest weeds .... my back yard had 8' .. yes foot tall weeds from not being able to do it (I'm disabled" but this did an amazing job and has variable speeds of self propelledness .. very easy for my terrible knees and back
