Excellent Combo !!

was looking for a 6ft spinning rod for creek fishing, I seen this one at walmart and the only negative reviews had to do with the shipping and not the quality of the reel or rod. So glad I purchased this set up I filled it with 10 lb braid and tied a 8 ft fluorocarbon leader to it , and I love this combo the rod has plenty of back bone for a med light pole it actually feels closer to a medium and the reel has no problem bringing in the bass. I went fishing last weekend at a friends pond and caught 22 largemouth ranging from small little fry barely larger than the lure I was using to a healthy 2 pounder and I had zero issue reeling it in . Evidently if you can get it delivered in 1 piece you'll love it I know I'm glad I purchased it. (The attached photo is the average largemouth I was catching that day with this combo.)

This is a great combo if you’re wanting something that doesn’t feel cheap. The reel seems to be all metal (no cheap feeling plastic). When you cast and close the bale, it has a super satisfying metallic sound. Drag adjustment is very progressive. By the way, the rod power is MEDIUM LIGHT. I use this for drop shots with small finesse baits on 10 pound braided line.
