I drink drip coffee all day long. This Filter is a great money saver. I dump the grounds out %26 rinse it under the tap. (i don't put it in dishwasher) It fits my Walmart brand 5-cup coffee maker perfectly. I toss the bottom tablespoon brewed coffee out of every potful because a little grounds' dust will get through mesh and settle at the bottom. I drink my coffee black and often. I truly use this item several times a day.

I have a 12 cup Mr Coffee with paper filters. these filters are fine, but take time to brekdown in compost. Most of the time I only make 2 to 3 cups. Using the Mr Coffee 4" reusable filter, it solved the foregoing 2 problems, and I ended up with a better tasting cup of coffee due to the confined space of the filter.
