Bakery-Style Macadamia Nut Cookies, Decent Family Treat I picked up this tub of cookies during our regular grocery run, thinking they'd be a simple dessert for the family. We love white chocolate and macadamia nuts, so I was hopeful. Opening the tub, the cookies are a good size, maybe a little bigger than a poker chip, and they look like what you'd get from a grocery store bakery case. The flavor is pretty good. You can definitely taste the sweet white chocolate chunks and buttery macadamia nuts in every bite. The texture is soft and chewy, just how we like our cookies. They're sweet without being overwhelming, which makes them an easy after-dinner snack. I do have to mention that the nuts are in smaller pieces, not big whole halves. You get the flavor and a bit of crunch, but if you're expecting a cookie packed with large, noticeable nut pieces, these might not match that. Also, they can dry out a bit if the tub is left open, so we make sure to press the lid on tightly after taking some out. They've held up fine for a week in our pantry. My hope is that they stay soft and fresh until we finish the tub, as store-bought cookies can sometimes get stale quickly. For a ready-made, convenient cookie that satisfies a sweet tooth, these do the job well. They're a solid choice when you don't have time to bake.
