Great Value Organic Steamable Chopped Kale, 10 oz

We have used this kale in our smoothies in combination with the organic spinach for years now. Each smoothie contains a full serving of greens. We eat them every weekday for lunch along with some nuts, and with the break of routine for weekends, we never grow tired of them! We are a family of 5. Our oldest son is usually away at college now, and our younger sons are 14 and 10. We've had this routine since our youngest was about 2, I believe. I've tried our recipe with fresh kale, and they don't turn out nearly as well as with the frozen. I'm thankful to have the organic frozen available to us at a better price than I've found elsewhere. We make huge batches and freeze the smoothie jars. Then we thaw what we need in the fridge the night/day before.
