Great for Cheese and Crackers!

My wife and I love this cheese! We buy it all the time. The aged cheese gives it a great strong flavor and the texture is a little more firm, but its not brittle. We typically eat it with crackers. We will cut it up in to small, bite size pieces and pare it with White Cheddar Cheez it Grooves. So good!

I love this cheese! It is kind of like a parmesan, it has a slightly crumbly rather than creamy texture with a wine soaked rind and a sharper aged taste. You could probably even crumble it to sprinkle on a salad or other dish. However I love to eat it on rosemary crackers with fig jam. You can also get a container with cubes of different kinds of this cheese brand, including the merlot, which I recommend also.

Delicious cheese, no bitter taste.

I've been buying this cheese for a long time(not at Walmart). It's about time they started carrying some high end cheeses. I've bought this cheese about 8 years ago and loved it. To me it tastes like a croissant, I don't know why but that's how I describe it. Kind of buttery with a sweet finish. It's my favorite cheese and no it doesn't have a wine taste to it. Pair with fruit, Greek olives, some Italian salami and a good cracker and you'll have a great snack, ( or for some, me included) a meal! I'm waiting for Walmart to start carrying Italian olives in oil, they pair best.
