Great for cooking large amounts!

We used this for a low country boil and it was just perfect. The bottom is fairly heavy and thick. The lid doesn't stay on overly well, but it is a very nice pot. I'd definitely buy it again. It does tend to get water spots, and I hand wash. It seems to heat evenly, holds quite a lot and cleans up well!

Looks and feels durable. Great price too. I used it to make Cajun Shrimps and crabs boiled, plenty of room. It easily fits 10lbs of shrimps, 2 dungeness crabs, 2 lbs of sausages, 2 lbs of baby potatoes and 12 pieces of corn (4 whole corns). Would definitely recommend it.

Large, cooks evenly

Mainstay 16 quart stainless steel stock pot with glass lid is perfect for cooking. It is very large plenty of room for large soups stews etc, it will come in very handy for canning season and maple syrup season. It cooks evenly did not have any burning on the bottom. It is very easy to clean wiped right out minimal scrubbing. It has a heat and shatter resistant glass lid. The handles are very sturdy easy to move around. Overall a really great stock pot I would highly recommend.
