How to Use ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent: 1. Add 1–2 scoops of ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent directly into the washing machine drum (use 1 scoop for HE machines and smaller loads, or 2 scoops for larger or heavily soiled loads). 2. Place your pet’s laundry on top of the detergent. 3. Run a regular laundry cycle as you normally would. (Do not place detergent in the detergent tray, as it may not fully dissolve. This product can also be used as an enzyme booster with other detergents—follow the same instructions above.) Pre-Soak Method: 1. For heavily soiled or extra stinky items, fill a tub or basin with hot water and add 1–2 scoops of ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent. 2. Add the dirty items and soak for 1 hour. 3. After soaking, transfer laundry to the washing machine and clean using the directions above.

I bought this product because my 3-year-old Bouvier de Flanders insist on leaving a little bit of pee on my wonderful muddy mats! muddy mats are great because they absorb everything including dog pee. so I needed an enzymatic cleaner to get rid of the smell and I've tried a number of really expensive ones particularly from febreze which cost over $35 for half a gallon. it barely worked. this stuff worked like a charm only had amto wash the rug once and I could not smell the dog urine. very very happy person
