Ok, here is what I am going to use this for (never really see these), lemon/lime juice (for drinks), coffee (I love iced coffee, this prevents it from watering down). sofrito (which is like a salsa, and individual cubes can be added one at a time as needed). Sure, I can put it in the freezer and make ice, but I can do so many other things, and I love that it has a lid

I'm actually really impressed with these. They don't feel as cheap as they are. I mean, yeah they're a little bit flimsy, but I don't know about anyone else. I surely don't like how hard it can be to break apart my eyes because the ice cube tray is so thick lol. And I really like how it comes with a lid. What a great idea. But I cannot seem to figure out what the little trap door at the top is for there's no explanation for it anywhere it's not like you can pop it open and spill some ice out. Is it to fill it up? What am I missing? Other than that this product, it gets five stars from me
