Just used it today for the first time and it worked great. Our dock is on a river with a lot of grass and we had been previously been using a garden rake which was very time consuming. The AWE worked great and removed large clumps of grass in one swipe cutting our time to just a few minutes instead of hours. If you are clearing grass from an area it is the only way to go. I did remove the push locks on the piece that joins the two poles together and installed stainless bolts just to make sure I don't loose a pole while using it.

Good but you can make it better

Rake does what it's designed for mostly. The tines need to be about an inch longer. Also, in order to attatch the rope, the instructions state to install the eye bolt, and remove it when you use the handle extension. What you really need to do, is drill another 3/16 hole 6" from the top, and install the eye bolt permanetly. I've used mine for days using that method and it works perfectly.
