Versatile lamp

With all its lighting options, this lantern is very versatile. I use it mainly for camping and backup lighting during a power outage. Battery life is good, although as others have noted, the always-illuminated power button does trickle away the reserve. To prevent this from happening when storing at home, I just remove the battery.

Great emergency light for the price

I purchased this lantern for the frequent storms that we have been having. It was easy to charge and works well. I have not tested the battery life….yet. I am pleased with the purchase and would purchase another one.

If you have PGE buy a couple of these.

Living in a area serviced by PGE you can always expect an unscheduled outage. With the high prices per KWH in the county they still cannot keep the power on. I purchased a couple of these Lanterns a while back so i'd always be prepared for outages and they work like a champ. Highly recommend keeping a couple of these around for Such Emergencies.
