My Dog Loves It

I am doing a review today on the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Dog Food. This is canned dog food. It is 12.5 ounces. The flavor for this one that I received is Beef and Chicken Grill. They come in many different flavors. It comes with real beef and chicken. There are no chicken or poultry by-product meals in this food. There are no grains in this dog food. There are no artificial preservatives in this dog food. It is a natural dog food with generous amounts of beef and chicken in it. It is a high protein food. These are the first ingredients listed on the can: Beef, Chicken, Chicken Broth, Chicken Liver. Products listed in the ingredients are listed first as to what is most in the product. So the very least amount of something in the product is listed last. I always check labels. By law, they must list the ingredients this way. Showing four types of meat listed first means this really is a high protein dog food. It also shows this is high-quality dog food. This brand is very well known for its quality. To make it a complete and balanced dog food they have also added vitamins and minerals to it. The instructions say to feed one can for every 20 lbs of body weight per day. My dog only weighs 10 lbs. I just gave him a little bit of it just to see if he liked it. I put some in a tray and he gobbled it all up in seconds. He is a picky eater. I can only feed him natural dog food because he has allergies. He chews his leg and it bleeds. The vet thought he had arthritis. I switched him to all natural and he stopped biting his leg. We are harming our animals with all of these preservatives and grains and other stuff that they are adding. I highly recommend this dog food.

My dog devoured it!

I have a very sensitive dog. We could not continue his regular dog food because he developed an allergy against it. We started cooking them food and he has been doing very well. But it is difficult to take them on trips with us because of the food. We would need refrigeration and heating and storage. We needed an alternative to our home cooked dog food. I am glad we found Blue Wilderness canned food. The latest one we have tried is the beef and chicken grill. Opening the can, it doesn't look very appetizing. It smells like food. My dog loves the flavor. I think he thinks I cooked it. The problem I have with it is the serving size. It says half the can for 10 lb weight. My dog weighs 50 pounds! I need to feed him 2.5 cans which I can't afford on a regular basis. Therefore, we use this for out of town trips only. My dog loves it and he hasn't had any health issues with it. Probably it's because it is grain free, and the main ingredients are meat. Very happy with it.

I had my finicky fur nephew for a month and usually cook for him. He's a small, runty Boston Terrier and is as sweet as can be so I spoil him. I ran out of chicken and felt unwell for a few days so as a “last resort” ordered a can of this to mix with his Blue Buffalo kibble and warm broth (I'm not a monster, I still warmed his precious broth for him haha) and to my delight he loved this stuff mixed in! So I will definitely be ordering more for my finicky little Sir upon his next visit. Photo shared of him wearing his last bite of breakfast hehe
