I loved the sauce along with the cheesy meat. The portion size is plenty big enough for me to be able to have two meals out of it, I usually try to have a vegetable on the side with some fresh bread. That makes it more like a balanced meal at least once a day for me. 🥰

I usually have Stouffers lasagna in my freezer but the last few only had a single layer of noodles that were swimming in sauce. Decided to try Marie Callender’s lasagna in a bowl and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. There’s plenty of noodles and ricotta/mozzarella plus the meat sauce. Noodles weren’t mushy. My only complaint would be the sauce was a little too sweet for me. I added some crushed red pepper flakes to counter the sweetness. Will definitely be adding it into my rotation.

I am a N.Y. born %26 raised Italian %26 while all frozen Italian foods can not compare to home made dishes, this is absolutely the only brand of frozen lasagna I buy. I have tried ALL the others over the years %26 there is no comparison to the preparation, proper ingredients, %26 tastes to compare to Marie's, period.
