It provides a good balance of both enhanced steering and performance while maintaining comfort on the road all-year round in various weather conditions.
- The RE97AS RFT is also backed by a 55,000 mile tread life warranty for V-speed rated tires, and 45,000 miles for W-speed rated tires. Run-Flat Tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to a speed of 50mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss.
- The RE97AS RFT features a high-grip, high silica content compound that is molded into an asymmetric tread design that blends long wear with all-season traction. The tire's footprint is optimized to promote even contact pressure with enhanced wear and traction while stiffened shoulder blocks backed by a continuous rib working to enhance steering response and cornering capability. Run-Flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-tires and equipped with a (TPMS) Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
