Delsym cough medicine has worked better for me than any other. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion. Occasionally there is a $3 coupon but if there isn't and I need it I buy it anyway. I haven't tried the grape but really like the orange flavor. It comes with a little cup for measuring your dose. I always have it on hand.
