Walmart %26 non alcohol beer

The beer is fine for what it is. 2 Walmart issues. (1) why does Walmart restrict my purchase to one 12-pack of a non alcohol beverage and (2) why does Walmart require an ID for the purchase of a non-alcohol beverage. There is usually plenty in the store so inventory is not an excuse and the ID requirement upon delivery does not make sense for anything without alcohol.
