Difficult to put on and take off.
I purchased this for the 8 quart container. The fit is so tight I could barely get it on. At first I thought I had the wrong lid. Once on it was very difficult to pry off using the tab. My bigger concern with removal, however, was that it would break the edge of container. I personally believe over time it would break. The resistance is just too great. Nice to have a firm seal but this is overkill and imo risks the container breaking. or chipping. I will probably have to carefully sand down the edge of the container until it is easier to remove. Over time with use it might stretch a bit, but hard to tell.
