[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built a mostly uncovered pergola last spring and found it was too hot to use some days. Finding wet-rated fans is not the easiest task and finding ones that fit your space and that fit your design scheme is even harder. The Skysail meets all of my expectations and then some. The fan has a pretty silver matte finish throughout with a single, bright LED bulb. The fan was a typical fan installation, although we did have to install conduit, a box and run additional wiring, because there was no previous wiring to the center of the pergola. The fan blades are balanced and the motor runs quietly. Like most fans, it has a reversible motor for summer and winter. This fan has six speeds that is operated by the easy to use wall control. We hit the mid/upper 80s this weekend and we were able to test the fan out in conditions we would use it. The fan pushes a decent amount of air and I am impressed with how well it cooled us down. We haven't hit extreme temperatures yet, but so far, the fan far exceeds expectations and I know that with its installation, we will be able to enjoy additional days outside. This fan appeals to me because of its WeatherMax design with corrosion resistance, which allows for it to stand up to harsh outdoor weather conditions, which we experience year round. The no droop blades are a feature I am excited about as well, so we will be able to enjoy this fan for years to come. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed by the quality and performance of this fan and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a larger wet rated fan or anyone who simply likes the design and would like to install it in a damp or dry location.
