You may be thinking to yourself, “It's broccoli! It's all the same!“ You could not be more incorrect. I have literally purchased every commercially available, consumer, quantity of frozen broccoli. Birdseye frozen broccoli is superior in every way. What you get are consistent size and quality, and they are perfect. What you don't get? Stems. Butts. Microscopic florettes. Rotten pieces. Smashed pieces. Yes, these are slightly more expensive than the generic Walmart brand, however, the upgrade in quality is remarkable and you don't end up wasting a single molecule.

Tender and tasty broccoli. Let's face it, broccoli can often be as tough as trying to chew on a tree branch. Birds Eye broccoli is the most tender broccoli I've found. The only downside has nothing to do with the broccoli, it has to do with the packaging. The package says it's re-sealable, but it's not. They have a dotted line where they suggest you cut to open the bag, but after that you have to figure out on your own how you're going to keep this very large bag sealed in your freezer. I use a big plastic clip. It would be nice if the bag was really re-sealable.
