This cheese is good always taste fresh! The cut is perfect not too thick but also not too thin. I enjoy it on a sandwich but also alone or with crackers. Melt well also. I do wish it had a better seal on it because it can get hard quickly if not closed properly.

I have tried all the sliced cheeses offered at Walmart, and I like cheddar best because it is the most flavorful. I switch between extra sharp and mild. Both are very similar, but the sharp is harder/more crumbly and has a slightly deeper taste, where the mild has a more classic cheddar flavor. None of them are as flavorful as American, but I think that's the lower salt content. This REAL cheese has less than half the salt of American slices If you want more flavor, you could always add a little salt to these, or keep it low sodium for a healthier snack!
