Fresh Whole Russet Potatoes, 10 lb Bag

I make fries or hash browns in the air fryer almost every single day. The value for the price is pretty good. The price has gone up a bit but it goes in cycles depending on the growing season. I make mashed potatoes/smashed potatoes rarely and they are fine for that. I would always take out of the plastic and let them breathe and to make sure there is not a rotten one that will poison the rest. It has happened a couple of times.

My first time getting these, I have been getting russets from Harvey's for years. They have been very good. I don't like to be negative about these, but I will give my initial opinion, some spuds are large and some are small. These are small, not really a problem, but it's more work peeling them. My first cook on these, the same as what I had been doing. A little olive oil water in a 2 qt pot with the lid on for an hour. I shut them off and let them sit to cool. These seemed to be a little dry, maybe less starchy. I will try more oil, they may be just as good, we'll see.
