We make so many side dishes and snacks with our Russet potatoes including potato wedges, sausage with Potatoes for breakfast, ground beef or turkey and potatoes with cheese, baked potatoes with bacon and toppings. Delicious taste like they came right out of your backyard garden. We love them

Very consistent in size and shape, no weird ones

Not all potatoes are equal. In addition to the different types of potatoes such as Yukon Gold, Red, Russet, etc... they come in different sizes and shapes. What I look for after good tastes is the consistency in size and shape. These potatoes were all about the same size, good for baking or cooked in a roast. None of them were misshapen, so they looked good after baking and they were easy to peel. The cost was good but that fluctuates over time.

Russet Potatoes of Very Poor Quality w/Damages

The Walmart russet potatoes were of very poor quality. One was rotted in the bag. Many tubers had apparent harvesting machine damage and after paring out damaged parts I was left with maybe 1/2 of the potato. Also, numerous black spots in these. The produce manager should know about the quality unless Corporate makes them accept whatever comes in by truck.
