Delicious and flaky buttery goodness!

what can you say about a delicious flaky buttery Good pilot with butter dripping biscuit? well you can say they are absolutely delicious! they're flaky like they should be. you can peel them into paper thin flakes, they are so good. they are incredibly good with honey on them I am a diabetic so I don't use a lot of honey but I did put a little on these and that was so good. I admit I'm a fan of biscuits, so my review may be slightly skewed but I've had a lot of different kinds of biscuits, and these are the best flaky biscuits I've ever eaten. I highly recommend you eat them right out of the oven take them with your favorite butter but just a little drizzle of Honey on there to give it a little flavor and chow down.

Flaky, good taste, convenient

Easy to make. Flaky. There is some butter flavor, but you'll probably want to also add your own. I often make these with country sausage gravy poured atop to turn them into a meal. Tried the store-brand biscuits, but those aren't flaky nor rise as much (so they taste dense). These are a treat for me as I'm dieting, and breads are a no-no for diabetics, but an occasional splurge is okay (I'm on Weight Watchers, and their app helps to regulate how many points I consume per week to keep on track after splurging). Also handy as a reserve bread when you run out of the pre-baked bread you buy at the grocery store; however, they are definitely higher in carbs than the whole-wheat Great Value whole wheat (and cheap) bread that I find has good texture and taste. Usually buy this only when it goes on sale.
