Johnsonville Sweet Italian Pork Sausage Links, 19 oz (5 Count) Refrigerated

These are great with pepper and onions added to pan while frying them once cooked. I usually add water to pan and allow to cook until done then a little oil to brown outside alone with the peppers and onions. Great tasting sausage on plate or buns your choice. I have sliced them into small pieces and added to beans or other foods which gives a great taste when cooked together.

This is the only Italian sausage that I get in the supermarket. I love the sweet taste because it reminds me of my mom's spaghetti and sausage with the slightly anisette taste from the seeds used as one of the spices. I brown and cook it first. Then I add it to the spaghetti sauce or gravy to simmer in the sauce. I also sometimes just cook them and eat them with fresh Romano cheese on it.
