It may not replace a gourmet pancake from scratch, but for its convenience and decent taste it's a solid kitchen staple. If you're after the absolute best texture or ultra-premium ingredients, you might explore specialty mixes — but for everyday use, it does the job well.

Still sets the standard. You can make a variety of things with it and they all come off well. Other baking mix works well for pancakes and small cakes but not very well things like biscuits.

I hadn't used Bisquick in years but decided to order some shipped in my order of other items. I'm so glad I did. I've been using it for everything and it's great. Makes wonderful drop cheese/sausage biscuits. I happen to still have my little Bisquick cook book so I made brownies one day and they were wonderful also.
