Grand Tongo Insect Repellent Green Tea + Mint Bug Continuous Spray 12 Hour Picaridin DEET Alternative Mosquito and Tick Spray

I am a magnet for mosquitos and spend a lot of time hiking in wooded areas. Good bug spray is an absolute necessity and I always have a can in my trail bag. I’ve noticed I only need to apply this spray once before I start hiking, then it stays in my bag the rest of day. It’s effective at keeping bugs at bay and I haven’t felt bites. The Green Tea + Mint scent is very subtle and isn’t noticeable after a few minutes. My skin never feels oily or sticky after applying, basically forget you ever used in the first place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grand Tongo Green Tea + Mint Insect Repellent is a great safe nontoxic alternative to normal bug spray. Besides the fact that the spray of the can that I received was a little faulty (instead of misting on me like aerosol cans do, it just sprayed a straight stream), the product itself is good. When you first put it on like most bug sprays it's a little oily/wet. I wouldn't go as far as saying it was sticky. I just rubbed it in and it blended and dried very fast. I did forget I had it on. The main reason I forgot I had it on was the scent wasn't strong and overbearing like other brands of bug sprays. I could actually breathe while spraying it, and didn't feel like I was eating it. I even sprayed it on in my small bathroom, which can make smells overwhelming since the tight space. However, it did not bother me at all. It has a nice light refreshing scent, but then fades away after a little while. While I had it on in the evening I did not get any bites! I would feel safe using Grand Tongo Green Tea + Mint Insect Repellent daily for my whole family, even my 2 year old son. Besides the faulty spray of my bottle (I'm assuming it's a one off), I would definitely purchase this for daily use when bug spray is needed.
