This one take batteries but aren't required for figure to look cool, the batteries operate a light in the mouth, and interestingly a diffuser module in the mouth also, you add a few drops of water in a port located at the back of the head and for a few pushes of the spike switch on the back, he will light up and emitt vapor for a short time. Also, he is actually quite huge, 4 or 5 times the size of the smaller Character pieces from Nintendo.
