The first time I used it my sister in law was here. She asked what kind of new air freshener was I using and I said she was smelling the litter box!! She was is shock. Now who has ever heard of someone commenting that your litter box smells good? I use pretty litter and people are always saying they wouldn't know I even had cats in the house and I have 4! this has been a fantastic investment! it works great and has extended my litter by a couple of weeks! I put in after each cleaning (once a day only), you don't need a huge amount, then mix in with the scooper. I have a small place and 2 cats, this was a Godsend!
