Bought this a couple of weeks ago and just installed it. Not disappointed in JEGs but in Derale for not ensuring all parts were packed. Missing the big o-ring for adapter plate and cost an addition 9.00 to get it installed.

dont bother with the aluminum fittings.

got this to relocate the filter on a diesel tractor to help prevent the oil change mess on those yanmar diesels...the black anodized aluminum barbed fittings looked nice, but seep (note- in picture they were brass- perhaps Derale shoulda left them that way!) made the mess twice tonight, retightened, removed, switched from teflon tape to teflon dope, they still seep and are tight as I'd care to go in aluminum(and no, there's no cracks in the castings). suggest getting steel or brass fittings. I do a lot of hydraulic work, cant see a problem, feel its almost gotta be the hardcoat on the 'fancy' aluminum fittings- i had a similar issue on aluminum brake proportioning valves before, had to retap to remove the hardcoat from the threads... sometimes that anodizing gets tiny cracks in it , dunno if from heat expansion or what, but have seen it before on anodized threads- in my opinion hard anodizing aluminum threads is just a bad idea... so tomorrow get to tear it apart again, man I hate diesel oil- and doing a job 3 times. Will say Jeg's is fast, first time I ordered from them, and got the thing a day after ordering :) other thing about the kit, the lower bracket bolt holes are behind the ports, cant get a socket on- minor, but kinda a head scratcher as to why, as would be much easier if the holes were just a little higher. also, MAKE SURE to deflash the inner ports- mine had a big leafy aluminum flashing hanging in the casting that could really got costly if it got blown into bearings. Made in USA, but man, unimpressed with the quality. the snap ringed hex is a nice feature, lets you reposition fittings every 60 degrees if needed- although Moroso's thru-nut makes more sense, even if one more seal...think I'll get theirs next time.
