I have used it 3 or 4 times a week for 5 years.
This is a long term review of 4 (5?) years - not a "wow it's shiny and I'm excited!". I use the juicer 3x a- week and have recommended to many friends. I have never used the pasta attachments. I am not a technician, but the method it uses is to slowly squeeze the heck out of everything (rather than chop it up to pulp). My favorites are kale-ginger-cucumber-apple. Everything will juice, EXCEPT soft fruit like melon, berries, banana & orange, which will go to mush and not feed through the grinder. I juice carrots, beets, Kale, and found everything tastes good with ginger, a green apple, and turmeric. When I'm on a diet, I stir in protein powder to the juice as a meal replacement. When I'm not on a diet, I have been known to stir in vodka or gin to the juice. Yes, it will make phenomenal cocktail bases. My advice is to clean immediately after use, so no sticky gunk builds up. I have had to unscrew the backplate and clean, which is a 10-minute job every 6 weeks or so. The black grinder broke last week, but it lasted 4 years and was easily replaced from the website (at a ridiculous cost though).

Absolutely amazing!
This is the latest and greatest model from Omega and all I have to say is wow it's super impressive. The juice yield is off the charts amazing and the clean up is a lot easier than what I expected. The warranty is the best on the market. I highly recommend the Omega NC1000.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this Omega - NC1000HDS - Horizontal Juicer, Nutrition System! Wow what a great juicer! I have had a couple of other juicers but neither of them did what this Omega unit does. It is simple and straightforward to assemble. They have put clear markings where pieces attach so you know they're securely in place. It is simple and easy to operate. This unit is very efficient. It is not very noisy and it juices qickly. At first I wondered if it would do a good job because it was quiet and fast but it performed great, producing good amounts of juice. The pulp left is much drier than what I've had from other juicers. It's also great at handling greens which I've always wanted. So many juicers seem to just chop the produce until it produces some juice, this unit actually juices the produce. This product also makes nut butters which is so great. It took me a little practie but it was easy to figure out. Another thing I love about this unit is how easy it is to clean! When I'm done juicing I easily take the pieces apart and pop them on the top rack of the dishwasher and that's it. I am finding that using this Omega unit is saving me so much time and headache and is giving me more juice than other juicers I have used. I definitely recommend this product.
