These were perfect for me. I have kind of skinny ankles and narrow heels. The straps on Teva sandals are often to long for me, but the length on these were just right. I have walked long distances in them with none of the rubbing and blistering some reported. I can see how these might not work for someone with wide feet though.

Been wearing Teva's for years and the Madeira Wedge did not disappoint. Not fully into sandal season yet but I have wore these several times. They are comfortable, supportive, and stable ( My husband asked me if I felt like I was going to fall off of them and that hadn't even crossed my mind). I like that they are elevated going me a little extra height without being wedged which I don't generally find very comfortable. The straps are the right length and do not cut into my pinky toes as other reviewers have said. I was worried about the color but the Eucalyptus is a nice neutral taupe shade. While still casual, they feel a little more dressy than most of my other sandals Just what I was looking for.
