Great vacuum for our hard wood floors and low pile rugs. Picks up everything including hair very well. Very easy to maneuver. Like the fact that the battery is removable, as the last black and decker vacuum we had the battery was not, and that was the only reason the vacuum needed replacement. Covers 1500 square feet without the battery running down. For what it is intended, it does a great job. Will it work well on 1500 square feet of lush carpet, likely not, but don't think it is intended to.
