When my DVD player broke, I went to a different store to but a replacement. When I got it home and set it up it did not have the ethernet port and could not get my old tv to play my streaming apps which is run through my DVD player. When I put in previous model number and you suggested something comparable you had images of the back of the unit and description so I knew it would work as it looked similar to what I had. Easy set up and everything is working even better than previous model that broke.

If you're looking for a Blu-ray/DVD player and you're on a budget, this Sony is hard to beat. Granted, there's no display on the front and it doesn't support WiFi (Ethernet only), but it does all the basics and features HDMI as well as a separate coax digital audio output, so you can run the audio separately to a stereo receiver or surround system. Overall I'm very happy with it.
