The men's boot lining is moisture-wicking to fight sweat. A nylon shank supports you arch. The camo upper is affixed to a comfortable rubber outsole with flexible strobel/ cement construction. You'll get into this tall snake boot easily with the interior side zipper.

Very comfortable.
Purchased these about 3 weeks ago to replace and aging pair of lace-up snake boots. After weighing all features in several brands, I settled on the Retractions. These are light and required almost no break-in period. They run true to size as I normally wear 11W and that's what I ordered. Fit great. Zippers are YK2 brand metal. I am satisfied with fitment and quality. So far, the waterproofing is untested, but I expect Rocky to honor the 1-year warranty if that becomes an issue.

I bought these boots about 8 years ago. I have about 50 miles on them and they are still doing good. They only thing I added was some good insoles for long hikes. I definitely recommend these to anyone.
