Guesstures Game from Hasbro Gaming for Ages 8+, 4 or more players

I received the Guesstures Game for free through the Walmart Spark Review program. My family loves playing this game. Putting the stickers on was a little challenging because I wanted them perfectly placed. It would be nice if the stickers were already placed, but obviously it doesn't effect the fun of playing the game. The directions have pictures to help with using the timer. The game involves acting things out without words or sounds, however using props, mouthing words and other charades techniques are encouraged. It's a race to beat the timer, get your team to guess the word and grab the card before it drops. I would recommend playing with at least 6 players, though you can play with 4. I feel the more the merrier. The game can definitely get intense with competition. We love games in our household and Guesstures did not disappoint! This game is essentially a fancier version of charades, which we played all of the time when I was growing up. Players will take turns selecting four cards. Each card has two words on them – one that is easier and one that is a bit more challenging. I really like this feature as my 8 year old sometime struggles with translating a word into miming actions for his teammates. The player who chooses the cards will place them into the provided “action timer” that holds the cards. When the player starts the time, he or she will mime clues to their teammates trying to get them to say the word on the card. If the team says the word before the time runs out, the player pulls it out of the timer. If the team doesn’t guess the word in time, the action timer drops the card and the teams doesn’t receive those points. The game comes with 378 cards so there are plenty of options before you start repeating. The game should be played with at least 4 players and is appropriate for ages 8 and above. Again, we have an 8-year-old and he enjoys this as much as his 10-year-old sister and 40-year-old parents! Overall, Guesstures provides hours of entertainment and laughs for the whole family. At an affordable price point, I highly recommend this as an addition to your game collection!
