Yamaha's NS-777 Floor Standing Speaker is designed specifically for home theater applications. This high-performance floor-standing speaker is a bass-reflex design that can be used for main channels and incorporates a pair of 8" Polymer-Injected Mica Diaphragm (PMD) cone woofers, a 5" midrange cone driver, and a 1" aluminum dome tweeter. The built-in Waveguide Horns greatly reduce reflected sound and increase the proportion of directly generated sound waves reaching your ears and add to a more precise sense of sound direction and placement. The bi-wiring capability gives separation between the terminals, woofers, and other drivers which reduces modulation distortion and adds to better sound quality. Finally, the speakers are encased in a sophisticated Elliptical Form cabinet high glossed in a sleek-black piano finish that easily compliments any entertainment room.
