Just installing it wasn't enough, had to tell my pc to initialize it. I bought this to replace to Samsung 970 Pro 512GM drives in RAID0 set up. It's at least as fast as that old set up. I have zero complaints. $1/GB is a fantastic price. It's not the absolute fastest drive on the consumer market, but I don't know how you'd know the difference spending another $60-$70 for the speed king.
