DeWalt trimmer head

The head that came with the trimmer was a frustrating experience to remove, restring and replace, eventually the string, which was recommended, broke off in the hole!!! So, necessitating a new head. I've only used it once so far and with new string both of which were installed by a wonderful employee at the store in which I purchased the trimmer. sS, time will tell. I was so exasperated, I almost bought a new one, also a De Walt, but found out it needed a different battery! I already have 3 for the original trimmer! so, fingers crossed, this head saves my sanity and "weeds, be gone!"

My 20 volt trimmer is light and very usable.

I've had mine for about 5 years & I can't imagine going back to a gas trimmer. During the first summer I told people my grandson used it all the time, they didn't seem real impressed. Then I told them he would be in 2nd grade when school started in the fall, they almost fell over. Great trimmer combined with a hard working kid.
