Great substitute for Dinner

This is a cereal brand that has been on the shelf for 50 years and it hasn't changed. It is consistently fresh, crunchy and tasteful. I enjoy it for dinner 2-3 times per week. As per the old saying, “eat breakfast like a king; lunch like the queen; and dinner like a pauper.” I wouldn't exactly classify Shredded Wheat as an inexpensive meal but it's a great substitute.

Not flashy but I like them!

It's shredded wheat. Not flashy, colorful or sweet. A great blank canvas for healthy add-ins like fruit. Works well with brown sugar. This Post version of bite sized shredded wheat holds up in shipping due to the method of construction. These pieces are tightly 'woven' and strong. These bites have minimal waste. , more 'pillowy' versions from other manufacturers wind up with massive amounts of crumbles straight out of the box. These turn into instant mush when milk is added and therefore not useful. Whether it is worth a buck more per box than the GV version (pillowy) is a personal decision.

this is really the only cereal I buy. hard to find any cereal these days that's not sweetened, and Post spoon size shredded wheat is perfect. Also no yeast, if that matters. highly recommended
