Excellent product

We use four of these to transmit a video signal over 100ft/30.2m Cat 6 utp cable. If you do not use the right category cable you will encounter issues. I found when i set it up in a lab for testing everything worked fine but when i installed it noise/interference from the building structure and other electrical cable were disturbing the video signal. You must use the correct Ethernet cable. It is supplied with one power supply which i use on the receiver unit. The HDMI input supplies power to the Transceiver. As per instructions, you need to play with the EQ setting on the receiver depending on the cable length.

It works without brackets.

Can't figure out the brackets installation. 2 units. 4 brackets, bunch of screws with round heads and flat heads.

Works but.....

Purchased this the unpowered unit which did not work because of loss even though it was within the distance limitation. Support advised to purchase the powered unit .. did so and could only make it work over 25 foot direct patch cables. anything beyond that the unit fails to perform adequately even though direct patch cables of 40 feet were being used - this unit is supposed to support 50 meters

Thank you for reviewing our ST121SHD50 HDMI extenders. We apologize they are not working well here. These unit should be able to support 50m as you mention, one thing to try while troubleshooting is the EQ dial on the receiver device. Trying each position for 10-12 seconds then trying the next until the best setting is found can help signal transmission and can improve performance and distance.
