Russell Performance Speed Bleeder 1/4 - 28 Fits select: 1983-1996 FORD RANGER, 1997 JEEP WRANGLER / TJ

The threadsealer on them, although necessary, gave me problems. That and the very, very small size of the 1/4" bleeders. I could not tell when the bleeder was seated fully. It wasn't a solid stop like a typical bleeder. My concerns grew worse when I decided to pull em out for the originals. I couldn't get them back out. The tip crushed then expanded to a point that interfered with the threads on removal. It took a hard pull and working it around with a pair of pliers to get them out. This probably wouldnt have been a problem on a larger bleeder, but for me, these don't havd enough strength being so small and are imho low grade steel. Very low. I did manage to bleed mine, but it took over 1 hr just to remove mine from damage. Strange considering I have aluminum calipers with brass bleeder fittings.
