LG UltraGear 31.5" QHD 180Hz Gaming Monitor – Tota

Alright, so I've been using the LG UltraGear 31.5" QHD 180Hz for a while now, and honestly, it's an amazing upgrade. If you're looking for a gaming monitor that's fast, smooth, and looks great, this one is definitely worth checking out. Super Smooth & Crazy Fast First off, the 180Hz refresh rate is insanely smooth. If you've been using a 60Hz or even a 144Hz monitor, you'll notice the difference immediately. Everything just feels buttery smooth, whether you're gaming or even just scrolling through stuff. The 1ms response time means no annoying motion blur or ghosting in fast-paced games—perfect for shooters or racing games. Crisp & Vibrant Display The QHD (1440p) resolution on this 31.5-inch screen looks super sharp without being overkill like 4K. The IPS panel makes the colors really pop, and the HDR 400 helps with deeper blacks and brighter highlights. It's not OLED-level, but for the price, it's pretty awesome. No Screen Tearing, Just Smooth Gameplay This monitor has AMD FreeSync Premium and works with NVIDIA G-SYNC, so no screen tearing or weird stutters. If you've ever had those annoying visual glitches in games, this completely fixes that. Looks & Build – Sleek & Adjustable The design is really nice—thin bezels, a sturdy adjustable stand, and even some subtle RGB lighting on the back. It's got a premium feel without looking overly “gamer-y.” Final Thoughts – Worth It? Absolutely! If you want a monitor that's fast, smooth, and has great visuals, this one is a solid buy. It's perfect for gaming, looks amazing, and doesn't cost as much as some crazy high-end models. Definitely recommend it!

Meets my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this on the Black Friday sale after sending back my ultrawide Samsung monitor. I needed something appropriate for work and and gaming, this strikes a perfect balance for me. My only frustration is that it doesn't have any USB connectivity for me to plug my BenQ light bar into, though it's not a deal breaker. The single button to interface with the display options is annoying, but the software makes adjusting preferences much more pleasant I'm very impressed with the picture quality and refresh rate, it's proving to be a perfect setup for both work and games
