I used another US manufactured electric sweeper for years nearly daily. When I upgraded to the 530 Blower I was impressed with the good design and especially the 530's lightweight balance. It is heavier than my older model sweeper but it also does a much better job at clearing debris off of outdoor surfaces. I can cover a larger area faster and with more reserve power in the 2.5AH battery cell. I used to have to carry two batteries with my older sweeper but not any more. The 530 kit, charger, battery, and funnel are a great addition to keeping a clean outdoor area - whether your lawn, patio, or driveways. Thank you EGO.

After years of struggling with heavy corded blowers and unmanageable lengths of electrical cords, I've found the tool I should have purchased years ago. The Ego blower is a fantastic addition to my set of yard tools. It's power, light weight, and ease of use enables me quickly and efficiently to accomplish the cleaning tasks easily in a fraction of the time and frustration. The sound output is not hard on the ears. I find I don't need ear covers. With near constant use, the battery charge lasts a good 40 minutes; for my needs that is sufficient. The battery recharge time is acceptable. The recharge base produces an audible buzz while recharging. I was so impressed with the product that I've added a hedge trimmer that uses the blower battery. The interchangeability is a plus. It is crucial to register the Ego products to secure the warranty. That process takes more time that unpacking the blower and putting it to good use. I'm extremely satisfied.
