good battery needed

the 1.5 ah battery supplied with the purchase is not strong enough to run this edger but works great with a 6ah battery. the 1.5ah battery is useless. i used a battery i had bought with a b and d string trimmer which had the same issue. t t

Love BnD but this item is not for me.

If you own a townhome or small lot this will work just fine. Not intended for large yards - blade binds up in wet soil and battery heats up very quickly, shutting the unit down.
