Not only do they have wings but also a tailfin. . .lol, just like an airplane. I use these for mild incontinence. They are very secure and probably THE softest pad I've ever felt. And bonus, they do not irritate my skin at all, which has been a problem in the past with other brands. I can not comment on maximum absorption as my incontinence issue isn't too severe.

At age 68, these come in handy for those little leaks that sometimes catch me off-guard. I'm pretty fit for my age, but having after 2 very large babies, my anatomy isn't what it used to be! These are my favorite pad as they fit well, are discreet and very absorbent. They're also hard to find. Since I found these at Walmart I always make sure I buy 2 packages so if they run out unexpectedly I'm good for a few weeks. Walmart has the lowest price I've found on-line so far. Some other sites (not to be named) have them for almost twice the price if they have them at all! As always, Walmart has the largest variety of products that I use or need and generally they are the most reasonably-priced.
