Delta Charmaine One Handle Chrome Pulldown Kitchen Faucet

I don't like rating all excellent but it was better than just good. Installing this faucet was easier than getting the old faucet out. The MagnaTite docking works well. Swinging the faucet from one side to the other is very light and smooth. There is no need for seals, that affect the swinging motion, because the inside surface is not wet. all the water flows though a separate tube inside the neck which allows for undocking and long extension from the neck. Switching from aerator to spray is easy and solid. The spray pattern is tighter than I'm use to but not a problem. The water pressure is an issue for me but probably the same with all faucets of this type that incorporate a mandatory 2.5 gpm flow restriction. The no spot surface works well and looks great, never have to wipe it off or polish it. I chose this faucet for its curves, especially the soap dispenser. It's pipe was curved, not straight like the rest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've installed this faucet in two kitchens now (previous home, and new to us home). Installation is easy, and initial quality is great. I can't speak to long term quality just because I've only used them for a few months. This is most definitely superior to the similar looking Glacier Bay product which it replaced in one kitchen. The hose retracts perfectly, and the magnetic holder provides confidence that the faucet will never have the problem of not fully retracting. We're loving it, and are confident that Delta will be around to provide replacement parts if that day comes.
