Quick and Easy
I had my old meter for so long that they decided to stop making the test strips so I had to buy a new one. I have no insurance and have to pay out of pocket so the cost of the test strips matters the most to me when purchasing a new meter. The fact that the strips are half the cost of my old meters strips was a factor but this meter is great. I get a quick reading in just under 5 seconds, no calibrating is needed and the meter shuts off when I remove the strip which is a plus because my old one would just act like it was waiting to do it again. Best meter for the cost and cost effective on the strips.

Just the meter for a reasonable price
This might be used or refurbished or a broken set not for resale and the box it came in won't be usable to put the meter on the shelf or for carrying it or traveling or storing it. No other parts came with it. But it's cheap and seems to be similar but to the original Bayer contour I got in 2007 that probably still works but requires strips you can't get anymore. tgis one is gray plastic instead of blue metal. Better than the contour next I paid like 50 or 60 dollars for at the CVS store around three years ago. This is worth the cheap price. I would reorder a spare today but without a decent box I might lose it
